For two weeks now, I've been out in search of fish in the channels and it's still a bit early.  However, the largemouth are loaded just about everywhere I have been.  Thursday we nailed about 25 and Saturday we lost count around 35.  My biggest was well over 5lbs!  The largemouth are on fire.  Look for where deep water comes up fast to shallow water.  They are not on shallow flats.  You have to find turns where the deep stuff is literally right next to small pockets of shallow water.  Steep drop offs with weeds on the shallow side are the key.  Lots of fun.

Yes... where's the pictures!?!

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Nope.  Up in the channels.  Mostly the North Channel.  Look for weeds near steep drops and you'll find largemouth.   Lots of them.

Nice job Tom !!!  Wish you had fished a day or two earlier.  I was up there Tuesday and Wednesday.  Really wanted smallies but it was slow and we might have checked it out.
