Not Bass but Walleye

Was out on my Home Lake, WestLake Sunday for some icefishin. I caught my First Walleye thru the ice Sunday it it was about 5#. WestLake is just south of Belleville by a town called Wellington.

here one from Sat 23 feb my biggest thru the ice and 2nd biggest ever I also got a 5# sun this one weighed 8.5#

That is a nice eye! Next time I get up to Belleville I really want to get out on the Bay of Quinte or some local lake to try to get some. Did he come on a tip-up and minnow?

What a coincidence Dan, my buddy and I once got home late with a mess of cats out of the huron river and were too tired to clean them, so we tossed em in his bath tub.  We were awaken early the next morning by his mother in a less than cordial manner.  Go figure.
