Just an FYI, they started bringing up the water level last Monday. going to be awhile before it is full.

Thanks for the update!

Friend of mine was there yesterday and said it is still real low.  Should come up fast once they close the dam.  Lots of water flowing in the Huron River by me.

fiker

The office at Kent once told me it normaly rises an inch a day. I'll bet this year it fills much faster.  The Huron here in Dexter is still quite high.
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

Lake is coming up pretty quick this year as others have indicated. Still about a foot low, but at least the dock pilings at the east ramp are in the water now. Just take your time around the lake if you are not familiar with the shallow spots.

Spent about 6 hours out there yesterday. Never got into a good group of green/brown ones but the toothy critters were on fire. Ended up with about 25-30 bass, somewhere north of 50 pike, and one 9-10 lb carp (that was fun).

On a positive note, we are now pretty proficient at getting the traps out of pike jaws. Although I can see the value in jaw spreaders a little more clearly....

50 pike!! Yikes! That would get REAL old for me fast!!
