Hey... do you guys have a 7 1/2 foot one piece spinning rod that would work good for tossing tubes a long ways on the Great Lakes (or anywhere else for that matter)??

What models have you tried so far, and how have you used them?

I only have a 6'6" Medium Light action Spinning Rod. I have used it for jerkbaits and tubes so far. I am amazed by the power of this rod. Jim is currently working on some 7' blanks. The new reel seats are infused with epoxy color to create a swirl design. Really cool!

So Grandt won't be able to make it to the Grand Rapids show this year? Guess I better make sure I look for the new spinnerbait rod this weekend. I'm hoping for a 7' rod for flinging over those open water flats.
