Quick hit contest for you frequent visitors:

Name the winning angler & weight of the 2008 Wal-Mart BFL All-American. Kim Carver was leading after day two 10 years to the week that he won his first All-American.

Did he pull it off again days before his 53rd birthday? Or did he falter? $100,000 to the champion 'weekend' angler!!!

My one appearance in 2001 was still the best week I've ever enjoyed in tournament angling. The opportunity is amazing and you can qualify through the BFL's OR through TBF!!

If you don't want to help everyone out, PM the winning angler's name and total weight to user: contest or email contest at greatlakesbass dot com

Contest ends Monday, 6/2/08 at midnight. If multiple persons answer correctly, a winner will be drawn randomly from all correct entries. You must be a registered forum member to win.

What do you get? How about your very own HOT!! KaRu VibraSpin and a new KaRu football jig courtesy of KaRu Lures!!

We have 2 winners!!! Why, because it seems the thing to do for the 2 johnny-on-the-spot members.

Grand prize winner is bailipanga!!! He wins the KaRu VibraSpin and football jig combo. I will mail out early next week.

And for a surprise consolation - Team houston will get a KaRu football jig or Poison Tail Jig - his choice! I'll have them with me up north, so remind me or I'll mail out early next week.

Congratulations!!! And thanks for being members!

Team houston

Thanks for having these contests Dan. I do not know what a poison tail jig is, so I will have to make my decision when I see them up at Mullet.

10-10 Bass Busters

Thanks dan and thanks Karu!!!  Looking forward to trying the vibraspin

Team houston

I think I will choose the football jig. It will be better for dragging around in the rocks in this part of the country.
