Hi Guys,

I was going to start a new sign-up post for Lake St. Clair on July the 12th but realized were already scheduled to fish on July 16th on Lake Orion.

Do people want to do both? One over the other? Pick a later Date? Let us know your preference.

I vote for the 12th on St. Clair with the 16th as a backup date.  Many of us really want to get to the Canadian Shore and Walpole, so if we can't fish the 12th, I vote for St. Clair again for the 16th.  We could make it an evening event.

I will be able to make the 12th as a non boater.  Can't make the 16th though with it being a Wednesday night and all.  Looking forward to seeing y'all again.

Dropshot

I can fish the 16th. I'm out for the 12th.

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

My schedule has changed but I am still out for this Saturday and I my flight gets in Friday evening the 18th so theoretically I can make it on the 19th. I'm having some minor motor problems that need to get resolved first though.

Hi Guys,

I was kinda sitting on the fence waiting for people to reply but with the lack of response I don't thing it's going to happen. At this time I would rather fish Lake Orion on Wednesday than go back to the south shore again.

I was down to the south shore of Canada yesterday (Wednesday) with another club I belong to and I will tell you the fishing was tough with mostly small fish in the mix. The wind did make it hard to find and see the dark spots but it's just not fishing as well as last year at this time. Between 14 guys (7 boats) we only caught 118 fish with about 55 keeper sized. Most of them were between 14-17 inches with an occasional 18-19 in the mix. Not very good for the amount of time per fish caught.

I was also watching the weather today and they are forecasting scattered thunderstorms again for this Saturday. Lucky us.

Also, how many people still want to do Lake St. Clair for this Wednesday or leave it as scheduled for Lake Orion?

My vote is to leave it as scheduled for Lake Orion. I'm in as a boater.

Saturday is calling for 29 mph gusts.  The storm forecasts don't call for rain until the afternoon hours.  I can do either day but I do not want to do both.  Maybe an inland would be a change of pace?  So far Walpole has not been worth the ride over there.  Maybe it will turn on in a couple of weeks.  I'm good with whatever but with 30 mph gusts I probably won't head over to Walpole.  Let's see what happens.

Let's see, so far it looks like this for this Saturday, the 12th, if I understand what people mean by their comments.

Boaters:
Tom
Joe
Shane?

Non-Boaters:
Eric
David
Rick  US Only
Don
Rob are u in or out for the 12th?

Also, who else plans on fishing US waters only?

Sorry about wrong date. This is for this Saturday, the 12th

GeeDavid

I have church on Wednesday night so I will not be there.

Dropshot

If we do the 16th is it Orion or St. Clair ?
Joe

Bass_Cat

Sorry about putting down the wrong date, I revised it.

Saturday, July the 12th will be on Lake St. Clair as a make-up date for the June 28th Lake St. Clair that got cancelled.

GeeDavid

That being the case I am in for US and Canadian.  Where and when are we planning to meet up?

GeeDavid
