I will be fishing St. Clair(as a co-angler) for the first time. I don't know anything about the lake, but I have heard a few people mention needing a Walpole license. Is this something that I will likely need? If so, how do I go about doing so?

Thanks in advance!

Dan

If you are a coangler and plan on fishing all day you had better have your Canadian license ($75) and a Walpole (around $40). You may even need your Ohio license should you draw a boater that will make a run to Erie and I bet there will be some that do. You had also better have a photo id, like your drivers license and a notarized copy of your birth certificate. If you read the article on the Sandusky BFL that I have on my teardropbass.com website (button on the main page for BFL articles) you can find most of what you need in terms of how to get licenses and a Passcard if you choose to get one.

Dan,

Thanks for the information. I have an Ohio license, Canadian license, a passport, and it looks like I will be ordering a Walpole license. Great article by the way!

Thanks again!
