Wayne and I were very happy to end up with almost 40 anglers at our opening day 4 PM seminar! Great questions and comments from the anglers and we were lucky to talk to a number of them afterwords for follow up questions.

I finally got to see the new Xtreme Bass Tackle Great Lakes Perch. Let me tell you, it is a BIGTIME winner!! I liked St. Clair Crayfish last year the moment I saw it, but Great Lakes Perch takes custom color design to a different level. It is a perch, plain and simple. I can't wait to get this new tube out on the water. I'm always looking for a really good perch imitation.

I think I've finally found it.

There are number of other colors and styles of new baits out in addition. Some of the new flash tails look like they will make the bass bite them. Really sharp! Wayne is in the 2100 aisle I believe. A couple over from West end of the building closer to the front.

I didn't get time to wander around hardly at all tonight, but this weekend I will. Saw a lot of GLBass members at the show already. See you in Novi.

I missed Wayne's Seminar on Thursday. I spent almost all of my time talking to Louie at the Extreme Bass tackle booth. I purchased a few of the New Perch drop shot tubes and a few of the 4 in.  Perch tubes also. Louie tried to get me to buy the 25 pack but I didn't. It bothered me then that I didn't purchase them and it's still bothering me and I haven't even used them. They look so good like candy to a Bass. I looked at Mike's Rx also but those Perch tubes stayed on my mind. Man, I've got to order them now.

fiker

Well, as long as you are going to order some more from Wayne.....

If you don't have the Canadian Mist drop shot tubes you'd better pick of some of them also.

And the 4 inch , Formula G3's, Erie Gobys........

And of course there's the drop shot Gobies from Nemesis.

I picked up some of the new perch on Thursday nite.  They look AWESOME!!!!  I also picked up the new "slither" color too.  They look AWESOME!!!!  Can't wait to get them on the water.  The slither in the double tail hula grub looks good too.  I bought some of those.  The only thing that has to happen now is for the snow to melt and the weather to warm up so the ice can melt.............. ::).

Well, we made Brian make up 3 of the 25 count drop shot tubes in the perch color.  This is a good looking tube for sure!

Glad to hear someone is keeping Brian busy packing up tubes... keeps him out of trouble. I did manage to get my hands on 1 Great Lakes Perch tube in the drop shot 2.5" size. That's it so far!

How about posting a picture of it so those of us who couldn't make it to the show cah see it?  or is it that big of a secret?  ;D

djkimmel

I HAVE ONE NOW!!!! JUST ONE!!! Customers come first, but I found a drop shot tube on the floor. I will take a picture of it and post it tonight. The final version batch complete sold out early Saturday. We were well into the initial batch and probably would have sold out that, but Saturday's attendance was way down from the weather (and I imagine some of those unfortunate's 'parked' off the highways may have been on the way, but didn't make it).

We still had some drop shot 2.5" tubes yet. I believe Wayne is in the process of getting two more pots of the 4 inchers now for the Outdoorama, mail order, and then the Lansing and Grand Rapids shows.

It is a really nice looking tube. Trying to be understated, but I think it will be as good as St. Clair Crayfish was. Maybe better!

They will go up, but I don't know when yet. Probably not until he gets his 2nd order in. I'll post as soon as I find out.

The orange is downplayed. It is part of the tail scheme. Many perch do not have the orange spot on the belly. Wayne used actual perch from Lake St. Clair as his design models. The picture looks more green than the actual tube does. You'll need to see one live and in person. Maybe at Grand Rapids?
