I would like to get it out in the open that I am one of the unfortunate ones that doesn't own a boat yet.  Not sure whether it is a function of living on student loans or having a girlfriend.  If there is anyone in the Kalamazoo area that ever has an open seat, I would be willing to wash windshields for an invite.

Firefighter Jeff

Good luck in your quest.  I'm sure a couple guys will step up from this site.  I would but Kzoo is just a little too far from Mishawaka Indiana.

If nobody will take you fishing another option would be to join a bassclub in the Kalamazoo area. They most likley fish 6-8 tournaments a year with a very low entry fee and a small members fee, might want to look into that. I know thats how alot of guys start out.
FISH HARD!!!

Post under the General Fishing - Find a New Fishing Partner board down below too so it will clear to anyone what you are looking for. Your post might get lost quickly here on the general board?

Post general times/days you are best able to go fishing too if you have such. You know - weekends only. Weekdays. Mornings. Evenings. Etc.

Make sure and keep watch on the www.greatlakesbass.com/dkopen/ page for the date of the next forum members tournament. That is another way for non-boaters to get out fishing. I haven't picked a date yet, but the next event will be this fall sometime on a weekend on White Lake. That is a way from you, but maybe you can carpool with someone from you general area (or passing through) to the event?

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
