DK Fall Open

Hey Dan, any thoughts yet on the where and when of the Fall DK open??

Yeah, when?  Where?  How about White or Muskegon Lake over on this side?

It will be White Lake - Whitehall / Montague. Just need to pick the date. Any major tournaments on White Lake in September? Or other nearby major tournaments?

The only one that I can think of is BBT launching out of Muskegon Sept 5th.  I think Sept is would be great, normally good fishing on those lake shore lakes.

I always hear about a bunch of club classics, Stren, BFL, some championships and regionals in the fall, along with the charity fishing up north... etc. etc.

I'm going to pick the best weekend later in September and if less than half the people complain, we'll go with it

I like fishing over there in the fall. I even like the Grand in the fall!?!

There could be some local clubs, Shoreline or BBT classics out there but those locations won't be a announces until late August.

Saturday or Sunday Dan?  If you're asking I choose Sunday.  I always have Sundays off!    Can't say the same about Saturday.

Cy - I'll check a few things to make sure and see if that works out. About what I was thinking other than the Saturday verses Sunday issue.

I see there is 1 NBAA that day 9/20/09, Duncan, DNR Ramp somewhere on the west side, and the 2nd day of the BFL super tournament on the Detroit River. I don't know how many of you might fish that NBAA on Duncan Lake?
