If anyone is in need of a non boater for this event please let me know. I would love to get out there and see how the bass fishing is done in Michigan.

The GLB forum has always been a good place to meet new fishing buddies. I will keep my eyes and ears open for a spare boater. I hope to see you there! 8)

Looks like we are going to have a decent day weather wise for sunday. Anybody want to guess the winning weight. I predict it will be in the 19lb range to win and at least 18 to get a check. With the weights we are getting on Tuesday night with 3 fish and only 4 hours I would guess that 20 pounds may not be out of the question.

See everybody there

Thanks to all the anglers who showed up on a frosty morning during a challenging transition period for bass fishing. Keepers were hard to catch for most teams, but roughly half the bass brought to scales weighed over 3 lbs. As a result, the battle for big bass of the day proved to be interesting. Largemouth were the key for the top team, and an improving smallmouth bite ensured a second place finish.

Special thanks to South Street Tackle in Belleville for providing quality baits as a bonus for teams who did not finish in the money. Thanks also to Dave Wilson for his help. Please stay tuned to the GLB forum or contact me regarding tournaments planned for 2010. 8)
