Is anyone else entertaining the thought of going to Old Hickory Lake to fish this event.  Registration starts tomorrow at 0800 Central.  I had planned on going this year if the drive wasn't over 6 hours or so and this one is more like 8 and I've never seen this place before.  I've fished Lake Cumberland and Dale Hollow plenty but have no clue what to expect IF I even go.  Just "fishing" for thoughts...

old hickory aint nothing like cumberland or DH.  its dirty, stinky, nasty.  but fun to fish.  me and kev (fishon1219) were down there a couple years back for the stratos championship.  its tough fishing to say the least but its a good time.  if you decide to go, let me know and i will share what i found down there with you.  it isnt much but it was good enough for a check.

McCarter himself :-\'
