hey guys i am also heading to secord lake next week and i will be launching of of m-30 sooo i was wondering if anyone has fished it in the last few days and had any pointers on were they are hanging out and what they have caught them on? any thing will be helpful... i was there earlier in the year and did ok the first time but 2nd time was a bust.  both time i was in a john boat with just a troiling motor so this time will be in an actual boat so will be able to xplor more.

Haven't been there in several years, but this time of year I would always run up the main river arms and flip all the wood with white jig and pig, or slow roll a white spinnerbait.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

ok thanks, what bout the back waters? any good?

If you like BIG pike. At least when I was there in the past. I caught most my bass along the shores of the main arms of the river, not in bays or smaller creeks.
