2009 Champs the MSU Spartans put a bunch of nice bass including some toads on to the scales!!!


Big Toads like these 2 Miles Roads trophies!


2nd place Indiana Hoosiers fishing team!


3rd place (and event co-host) University of Michigan Wolverines fishing team (Go Blue!!)


4th place Penn State Nittany Lions fishing team (Go Blue!!)

Some nice big Lake St Clair smallies caught by one of the Iowa teams


One of the nicer limits of quality fall Michigan smallies caught by a
Fighting Illini team including the only lady angler competing in the event


Two nice bass caught by a member of the Purdue Boilermakers fishing team


Many largemouth bass were caught including two weighed
by a pair of the Indiana University fishing team members


And a limit of largemouth bass caught by members of the Penn State
fishing team while they fished with waterfoul

Lots of smallies of course weighed in when you're fishing Lake St Clair
like these two caught by a happy Wolverine


Here's one of my anglers I spent the weekend with - Dave from Penn State
with a solid largemouth bass caught Saturday in practice


Also enjoyed having the oldest college 'kid' in my boat Seth, but I just call
him 'minnow' now, guess why as he shows off his trophy!! ;D


'minnow' and Dave put together a solid limit of largemouth (including biggest green bass
of the event) and smallmouth bass weighing over 14 1/2 pounds

Waterfoul

Thanks for posting the pictures Dan!  That was indeed a fun weekend for everyone involved.
Addicted to fishing.  All the time, any species, anywhere!!  Especially in West Michigan!!!

Oh BTW... Waterfoul was my underpaid volunteer photographer for many of these photos while I was manning the video camera. Thanks Waterfoul!!! We were a good team too!! :)
