Team houston

I spoke to the president of SEMBA this past weekend. Dave Harmon stated that they were not holding a tourney this year due to membership issues within the club. I know that there is a Fishers of Men tourney that weekend on Belleville.
I hate not starting my MI season on Belleville, that event has been good to me in past years.

I've never fished Bellville Lake.

How is the fishery there?

Do you fish the west end or the east end?
So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

Theres good spots at both ends. I do fairly good there

Typical fall chunker. I cuaght 6-7 this size the day after the guys from south street had there classic last year,  I think it was the TNT guys. I also do well in the heat of summer at night with a black spinner bait under the lights and over the edges of all the boat ramps

General rule of thumb for me out on Belleville is Largemouth on the weedy west end near Rawsonville and smallmouth on the east end off of the rocky sea walls and channel swings.  Although, you can catch em both all over...

i've only walleyed fished there, pulling bottom bouncers and crawler harness, done very well there, no idea about bass fishing there though, sadly i may add.

Team houston

Can we get some more info on that fishers of men tourny?  Sat or Sun? Is it an open or do you have to join. If so how much. How much is the tourny cost? team event?   Thanks Phil

houston - I don't know how often bigjc (the TD - John Carter) checks the boards here - the events are on the calendar here I believe and he posted some information in the other tournaments board below.

You may want to email him at BIGJC77@aol.com and ask your questions.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.
