Once again, lots of tournaments to try to work around, but these two dates seem to have the least amount of direct conflict, and hopefully most likely to make fishing the event possible for the most members of GreatLakesBass.com.

Please post any issues or confllcts you know of to these to help with making a final decision. The finalist lakes are in a separate poll. The other concern will be permit availability for specific date and lake, so second choices may be used.

September is good for me.
After the first of October, I'll put the poles away, and go bowhunting.

So much water.  So many lures.  So little time.

September works better for me. I already have two tournaments and an anniversary in October.
Peace.
It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.

djkimmel

Wow - are there just more October tournaments than there used to be?

I'd prefer Sept simply because of the weather.

I chose Sept 'cause my vest isn't Kevlar. Early goose season usually ends mid Sept but duck season will be in full swing by mid October. Saw 2 guys almost lose there heads on Sanford last year. They started fishing spinnerbaits just outside some guys decoys and when the ducks showed up there were some rather surprised bass anglers puttin' their life jackets on in a hurry.

djkimmel

Yeah - I'm concerned about that too - an issue on many lakes in October. The guy with the gun always wins in my book...
