i have an rc3.5 in the "golden shad" color that i'm looking to get repainted for fishing lsc any suggestions? gobby, minnow, perch, walleye

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

I like goby when dragging bottom with deep divers.  The RC 3.5 only dives 0-4 ft. so I would go with a perch pattern, bluegill/sunfish, baby bass (smallmouth), and/or a shad pattern.  I really don't think you can go wrong with any combination of green, orange, yellow, purple, white/silver, and a little red as an accent color.

One bait that has always been my "go to" on LSC is the Fat Free Shad in the "Copper Bream" color/pattern.  I don't think they make them in that color/pattern anymore.  If I get some time I will take a photo and post it here on the board.  Also the Bill Norman DLN in the Sun Perch color/pattern has been good to me also.  They both work on LSC and Erie.

Those Koppers Livetarget lures are nice.  But at $11.49 a piece......well that's better than Lucky Craft and way nicer as far as the looks are concerned.  Has anyone used these things yet???  I may have to try a couple.  Just add it to the other hundreds of dollars I am going to spend in the next few months on stuff I probably won't really need.

I've been looking for the Copper Bream pattern, even searched the discontinued colors...no luck.  I did find Coppernose Bluegill though.  Could that be the name BD?

If it was a Fat Free Shad then yes.  When they were first making them, they called it "Copper Bream".  They may have changed it to Coppernose Bluegill.  I do have some on my work bench that are still brand new in the package in the fingerling size.  I will have to check it out and get back to you on that.  I will also take a picture of it and post it when I get a chance.  I found a whole bunch of them at Dick's last year and bought all they had.  Haven't seen any of that pattern as of late.

I have tried the LiveTarget. They are pretty sweet looking. I bought the green craw one and fished it up in the UP on a camping trip and caught a few smallies. But I did see it put some good fish in the boat in the Spring time on Lake St. Clair. Haven't tried any of the other color patterns.

I have found over the few years of fish Lake St.Clair and the other great lakes that MI has to offer. Is that you just can't beat a color from the Strike King Sexy Family. Or one of there new craw colors Chart. Belly Craw, or the Orange Belly Craw.
