If 24 boats show up that would be a new DK OPEN record! We need something special to happen if 24 boats show up. Let's see......If we get 24 boats or more, Laporte will eat his hat.

The DK OPEN record will be shattered this year - there should be a nice sized armada of West-side anglers coming over.  The only factor that could potentially cause a non-hat eating record draw at the 2010 DK OPEN is wind speeds.  Added 3 more boats today; I say 30 boats easy if weather is decent - what kind of clothing eating can we see if we go 40?

I wouldn't worry to much about wind speeds...There are a ton of LM bass in the Metro Canals...(Of course this is coming from the guy that wimped out last year because of wind and cold rain..LOL)

I am planning on going if 1jav wants to make the trip. Unfortunately it sounds like his boat wont be ready and only 6 hours on st clair wouldn't be enough to satisfy me. So are there any boaters fishing friday too that would want a couple guys in the back seat? Also where is everyone staying at friday night?
