Whos coming out to take my money at the paper tournament on Kent Lake May 7th?

It is always my first good bomb of the year.  I know Jeff will be there to beat me out of the back of Nowyarkus boat.  This is always a great tournament, usually our biggest turnout of the season.  Lots of good bags, er, paper weights brought in.

I'll be there.  Hopefully I won't draw a shore beater.  I don't know if I could handle that for 4 hours.
Jeff

joshimoto son

I will be up at Wixom that day in a Club tourny.

PB... I don't ever wanna fish that lake unless we're in the same boat in a team event. I would just rather mail you my money and save the gas!!!

dartag

i will be there.   going to follow PB all day..   looking at the weather to go out one day next week.   thurs and fri look good..   the carp are jumpin..

I cant catch them in a tournament there.  I always bomb.  I wouldnt be worried about me when there is money on the line on Kent Lake.  I am cursed to finish 7th or even worse, 12th :o

Jeff is the one to worry about out there.  I just ride his coat tails.  I got a feeling he will be upsetting a few people thisyear from the back of the boat.

I will be there to donate my money as well. I have never caught a fish there before august. I keep trying to fish the boat docks but I can only find a few and they are to far apart. Maybe I should look for some other structre. Poorboy will you take me fishing on kent lake and show me how to catch CHEETAMS.  ;D

Try fishing by the dirt launch with the single dock Charlie Moore launched out of... :D

I will be there, hopefully the fish will co-operate.
Peace.

There are no tournament hours listed on the website, at least not that I could find. Launching from the West launch.

I would like to get out there this week but I don't know if I'll have my trailer brakes back together. I had to order some parts and they won't be here until Thursday.
Peace.

found Anthony on the LSCN site here is what he posted.

Kent Lake Paper Tourney this Sunday ... May 7th ...

The West Launch - the same as last year ...

I asked the park to open the gates for us by 5:30am lets hope they do. Last year it was was about 5:45 when they opened up. I will get there about 5:00 - 5:15 am am and we will start registration when I get there.. I hope to close registration by 6am.

I want to start fishing by 6:30 am - 6:45 am (at the latest) and Weigh-in at 3pm ...

It should be a large turn out once again this year and I have several new memebrs coming out.

Last year we had a 48 memebr field and this year I expect several more.

Don't forget your Golden Rule "Weigh Master" Bump Board and an Ink Pen ... you will be asked to show them at registration. I will have approx 6-10 boards available to buy for those who don't have one already.

I am ready to start fishing .........

Hope to see you all there!

Seems to be some confusion about East verses West... launch that is. I've never been to the West launch. Just heard it is smaller and shallower.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

lots of water at the west launch...  drove through yesterday and there was a truck with a Gambler Trailer on the back..  dual axel so it must have been a larger boat..  also lots of shore parkiing and Goose Doo Doo...

Cheetam

West launch is much better for tournaments because you can beach your boat there.  There isn't a lot of area near the East launch unless the sailboats are out...then you can tie up to one of their docks.
