The secret of the big Detroit River muskies is slowly and steadily getting out but it still presents a great fishing opportunity for true trophy musky fishing.

Many are being caught by walleye anglers. Check out this monster trophy landed by Walleye 101 owner and seminar teacher Lance Valentine.



Lance's report on the big fish: "April 27, 2010.  49.25"  and around 40lbs!  Detroit river jigging for walleye.  6lb Fireline, 3/4 oz "Thump! 'em up" jig with a camo Thump!'em up worm and a stinger!  Revived and released unharmed!"
