First off - great tournament. Nice to meet some of the forum members. Really awesome BBQ.

Luke and I found some fish up shallow in 2-5 FOW. We had a limit in about the first two hours. Luke is really a solid angler - he made great suggestions on where to fish and he brought in his fair share of keepers. We culled a couple and then left the area to see if we could find some bigger fish. Headed to the Ford house and found cleaner water. Upgraded one fish but caught mostly dinks. Andrew hook his sheephead fish was a cluster as a smallmouth had just messed up the net. We decided to head back to a rockpile for the last hour and caught our biggest fish (3-14) right away.

Andrew's (my nephew) first sheephead - he really had a great time at the tournament and got really excited about bass fishing.  I want to thank Luke (MIBassKid) for being a great co-angler and putting up with a youngster in the boat who would cast wildly and get hung up a lot. We taught him some things yesterday that were a lot different than what he is used to. It took a little while but he loved it and had some stories to tell him parents when he got home.

I think we hooked a young man

Andrew also caught his first smallmouth and was asking me all about tournaments on the drive home.

Dan Kimmel put on a fun tournament:

Great pictures guys.  Thanks for posting.  I'm going to save a bunch to my computer.  I must need my head examined.  I'm usually "Mr. Camera Guy" at stuff like this, and I totally forgot to get it out of the glovebox  !!!!

Firefighter Jeff

Wait, it just dawned on me.  I have one pic of the Musky I caught during the open.

I'm working on a lucrative potato chip sponsorship deal. Well... I was. Then I remembered all the salt. Maybe not...

Glad you made it to the weigh in cookout Wayne. I think if I had eaten my second peanut butter sandwich, I would have remembered to hang out my banner on the table and put some packaging out. Yup, it was not eating the second peanut butter sandwich.

How do you attach a picture. I was going to post a picture of the musky I caught but couldnt figure out how to attach it.

It's incredible!  The smallies look exactly the same in the year "2094?"  Mike does too!  Gotta clue me in Mike cause that time travel thing could come in real handy when the fishing pressure is up.

Hey... I was just watching some show where two nerd scientists were working out the big agreement to be roommates and the one says something like, "agreement E, if one of us invents time travel, we have to come back exactly 5 seconds from now."

They immediately both start silently looking around the room. After 6 seconds has passed, the first one says, "well, that was a disappointment."

Go to the General Questions and Support board down below and check out the two options in stickied posts (at the top) on how to attach / upload your pictures or a web site you can use for free to resize and get a link for you pictures online to point to.

i use photobucket.com.  it takes about 30 seconds to create an acct.  from there, you just upload pics from your computer onto your photobucket album.  once they are uploaded, it will ask if you want to edit or save to a specific folder or album or something like that, i always just click cancel, then it brings you back out to your main page and you will see your photo with 4 boxes below it.  click on the bottom box to highlight it or put your cursor there and then right click and choose copy, then come here and type whatever you want and when you are ready, right click again and choose paste.  it pops the code in automatically like magic.

McCarter himself :-\'

Here's a picture of the musky I caught Saturday. The pictures not the best forgot the camera so had to use the cell phone. Thanks again for dragging me around the lake all day Vince. Hope to see you this fall at the DK west.

It was, I caught it right before we had to head in on a 4" tube. We didn't have a tape measurer so we used the board to get an idea of how long it was. Two board lengths and about another inch. Dan said it wasn't in season so it didn't count, no big deal. I was just happy to actually get it in the boat. It was the first musky I've ever caught.
