Wow! I can't believe how harsh some guy's are being. The new guy was just looking for some tips. In time he will figure out how this sight works. It is a give and take. I agree he may have worded his question wrong, but come on. Give the guy a break. I'm glad everyone on here has been awesome to me from the start. Things may have been different if I was treated like crap on my first post. Then again, maybe I'm the one that's wrong.

I think it has more to do with the fact that he was asking for spots because he had a tournament coming up on St. Clair.  Alot of guys on here fish that water and bank on getting on them good out there, and odds are they were fishing against this guy.  Are you going to risk pulling up to your spot only to find him sitting on it whacking them?  I doubt it.  I don't mean anything I said to be harsh, just honest.  You can ask guys you are cool with for some pointers, maybe a pattern or color, but probably not a good idea when you're fishing against these guys to ask for more than that.  Maybe I'm wrong, but since I'm never wrong...

Live to fish, Fish to live.

In general the summer is heating up quicker than last year. The fish are starting to show up in their summer areas in deeper water. Also the fish in the channels are just beginning to chase baits. After the post spawn rest some of the big girls are starting to put the feed bag on. In the lake, fish weed lines in 12-15 ft of water.

What's with the news these days on the TV and the radio. Can't find the truth amongst the lies. Some talking head that claims to live their life in a better way, says I have to compromise. But now there's something on the rise. Truth has opened up my eyes. There's no running from your dirty lies. You can't avoid the truth. I'll no longer close my eyes.

Thanks Dave...I appreciate you mentioning that.  It sounds like you had a whale of a time at the "Monster Quest."  I'll be using a quote from one of your posts in my Lake St. Clair webTV Broadcast: www.combat-bassfishing.com on Friday night.

MadWags

Oh no. Should I be concerned. LOL! :D

No hard feelings. I agree it wasnt a great question. As you may have noticed I didn't give up any of my own spots. you gotta kind of warm up to everyone on here, and then they are more than happy to throw you a few pointers. You may want to refrain from asking for specific spots in the future. Thanks for the info Dave, that is awesome of you to do that. I'm talking about the Viagra of course.

JchesBass_7

Yea after the first couple post I realized that it wasn't the right kind of question. Thanks so much for the help.

Combat fishing waypoints are loaded on my GPS as WC1, WC2 etc with special Icons...Sometimes I do a quick check or do some refinement of those points on my way to fish what I have in areas...
I am starting to get WP cluster Frick on my graph though....I was resetting some stuff last week and it was like..."What the heck did I mark that for?"

Bottom line...Hook yourself up with some of Wayne's stuff...It will give you a place to start and also show you patterns that develop throughout the year....

Don't forget to remove your bunny slippers before you crawl in...

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Using the "data" as baseline information and building on it is the core philosophy behind the information products.  Awesome!

Sorry about that MadWags...I blew up the show when uploading it to YouTube at 9pm and had to sort that out.  Your quote was put into the segment on current events before the show.

BTW - Nice finish today at the Double Barrel on Lake St. Clair!

Thanks Wayne. One cull away from the win, but our bite shut down. Thats fishing. GLB member markgoetsch finished in 3rd place I believe with 18.85lbs of channel bass. WTG Mark! Great job on the shows Wayne! Really is great to have such an awesome fishery isn't it?

Thanks for reminding me Dan. Last time I forgot to remove my bunny slippers. I coughed up a hair ball in the morning. ;D

Thanks madwags but we actually squeaked out 2nd by 0.03 lbs.  It was actually pretty tough fishing most of the day but we got on a school of fish at the right time.  Within an hour we caught around 15 with multiple fish following every fish we hooked.  Then like someone flipped a light switch they were gone but luckily we got enough to cash a check before it was over.

MadWags

Sorry about that Mark. Second place is a great finish against a talented field. You guys rock!
I know the weights were tight at the top. Somewhere between your 18.85 second and my 18.61 fourth was a third place finisher that I missed. Do you know who it was?
