On May 20th District 69 of the ABA is hosting a Paper Tourney on Lake St. Clair

Immediately following the Paper tourney will be a Blessing of the Boats. Members who want to have their Boats blessed will convoy from Selfridge Launch to the Utica Gander Mtn store on M59 where we will have Pastor Tom Ouweleen do the blessing. Your boats will be blessed for a good, safe, prosperous and fun fishing year.

If your in the tournament you do not have to go to the Boat Blessing and if you want to just come out to the blessing your also welcome to do that.

The actual blessing will be short and sweet .. I am working with Gander Mtn and it looks like Gander Mtn maybe donating some nice gift cards, prizes or discount cards and having a sale in conjunction with the Blessing. I encourage everyone to check out what Gander has to offer. It should be a good day to shop for fishing tackle with the sale they will be having.

Registration - 5am - 6am
Pre-meeting - 6am - 6:30am
Start Time - 6:30am - Is the goal - it maybe slightly later because Paper tourney's take a little longer to organize and get ready.
Finish - 2:30 - We will fish 8 hours.

Winners of the ABA tourney will be announced at Gander Mtn to help speed up the process.

Blessing of the Boats should start around 3:00 - 3:15 and only last a few minutes.

Anthony - do you have me down as a boater? Yeah - I haven't actually paid yet - boy are the weeks flying by now. How much for a bump board (if you have any left and will save me one)?

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

since it is a paper tourny i would advise pre-paying..  anthony to send some boaters home sunday..  not a pleasent thing to do.   that is one of those  " So you want to be a tournament director "

I'm signed up, paid, and will be there for the tourney.  I am honored to perform the blessing after.  Hope you guys can make it.  Whether or not you are a spiritual person, it can't hurt to ask for a little divine protection.  See ya'll there.

I recieved 15 brand new Weighmaster Bump Boards in the Mail today.

Golden Rule cut me a deal and will be offering them at a low cost of $15.00 ea. After shipping costs I'm going to make a whole 0.27 cents per board so no complaining about the cost.. Dan....  :D

For comparison they are $17.99 at BPS but they are sold out.

Dan once you get your money in I will mark you down as a boater.
