As far as I know, Mona is off limits to drop shotting just like Muskegon and White.  You are a local, aren't you chrisvmo?

Yeah I'm a "Local" do most of my fishing on the lake shore.

"Didn't matter today anyway... after an hour of short fish we found something that was ON at Mona.  Today was only my second time on the lake in many, many years... but thanks to some advice from Chrisvmo and one trip he and I took to the lake last year I fished three key spots and about half the docks on the lake on my way to 7th place with a 12.7 lb bag that included a 4.8 lb smallmouth.  Chris, that spot we caught all the fish on last year was HOT all day."

Ya know... your memory really should be better than my memory young man... We had 48 or 49 boats at that one. I remember close because I was the one doing all the 'last minute' switching the last two days for that one when all the late sign-up boaters turned around and canceled! A good example of why I try not to run any tournaments anymore!

Hey... it's not a rule violation or anything...    I learn some of 'my' best stuff when people respond to the automatic PM notice by emailing (though it says DON'T RESPOND TO THIS AUTOMATIC EMAIL NOTICE) back instead of responding to the original PM!!! All those email responses come right to me... Good thing I'm basically an honorable person...

I would love to take you to the lake but it's a long ride to the U.P.  Maybe in the fall. L.R. lake just north of the bridge ah?
