Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

give it a another week of cool nights and get those water temps down out of the 80s and back into the low 70s and things will start to pick up again. I've noticed a lot of lakes have cooled off quite a bit in the last week. Fishing is starting to pick up already now that the weather has stabilized also.

What, swimming with an anchor attatched to you?  That's the last thing Dan talked about.  Personally, I'd be looking forward to fishing.  That's just me though.

Firefighter Jeff

Mike and Mike..... you fishing Friday???  Is there anyone else???

mikesmiph

I forgot all about school starting. Veronica has school on Friday, we wont be able to get there till evening.

Well, it looks like I am fishing Friday.  What time are you going to roll in to town, Jeff?

Durand Dan

I'm heading up after work Friday morning(3rd. shift). Hope to be there by noon. I want to get out and get a lay of the lake if I can stay awake  ;D

Just throw a line over the side, drift and drag. When a fish bites... you'll wake up!! :o

I haven't decided for sure yet Mike.  My daughters have a soccer game Thursday.  I'm going to head to my trailer on Hamlin Lake.  If I don't head up Thursday after the game, I'll prolly leave early Friday morning.  White lake is about 2 1/4 hours for me. (From home)  I originally was going to fish Hamlin Friday, but if you and or any other members are going to be there, I'm seriously thinking about White.

Mike S.

I have Friday off, and I'm planning to go fishing.  Just don't have anyone to go with.  Everybody has to do that "W" thing.  Don't want to put any profanities on here, it is a family site.  If anyone wants to fish in the morning, I'm available.  I'm no pro on that lake, and I've only been on it 3 times this year.  You know, if anybody is interested, I live 10 minutes south of White, we could get together at my place and have a cookout Friday evening.   Plenty of room for trucks and trailers.  Just an idea.

I may be interested in fishing with you on Friday Mike. I work midnights, and would be leaving after work early Friday morning.

Firefighter Jeff

Hey Mike, if it doesn't work out with Bassassasin I'll fish with you Friday.

Mike S.

I can fish 3 pretty easy in my boat.  Done it a few times.  Let me know what you guys want to do, and what time you're going to be in town.  I'll give you my number, because I'll probably be on the water before you guys are here.  Could just meet at the launch.

Not on White.  However,  there is a 3 dollar launch at Armstrong's, which is on the soith end of the lake.  Or you can launch in the river for free.

thedude

you can use the river launch for free on white. its not great, but doable.

I used the river launch once with my Nitro.  It worked perfect for the Bass Tracker.  The only problem is that the concrete only goes so far, and then the trailer tires drop off the end, and the bottom of the trailer drags the concrete.  It makes a horrible sound.  I'm sure the water is lower now than it was when the fish were bedding.  Like the dude said, it is doable.  When i have used the river launch, I have always backed in at an angle, really helps when loading the boat so you don't have to fight the current too much.
