Have been having a hard time finding fish on Wixom and was wondering if anyone could help me out..thanks

Haven't fished there in a long time, but it was always a good morning buzzbait lake. Sometimes an all day buzz bait lake. A good deep water lake too if you like that kind of thing. I try to avoid that deep stuff... ;D

If you like deep water, try some of the Titabawassee side main and secondary points deep in the morning.

Can be a good dock lake on sunny days too. I like that.

Help stop invasive spcies. Don't move fish between unconnected bodies of water. Clean, drain and dry your boat before launching on another water body.

Thanks for your replies...Was on the lake yesterday for a few hrs..only a few bass around 10". Seems like fishing is slow right now, even people who are looking for panfish aren't having much luck..wonder if it has anything to do with them not opening the dams to keep the water down on sanford

Wixom is always slower and tougher when the water isn't moving. But if it persists... the fish gotta eat... Fish slower during the day with determination. Cover is more important when the water isn't moving. Many of the bass should be hunkered down in it.
