If I remember right, Wags drives a Nissan Titan, which happens to be my dream truck, if they would only put in a diesel!!  So yes, I agree, he has great taste in trucks!!

Yes I am on my second Titan. Great truck made here in the USA using 60% US parts. I have owned 3 Dodges as well and was very pleased with their performance. Only problem with the Dodge was theft. Too easy to steal. I am hoping by now they have changed some things.

Heavy D I have ownwed Fords as well. I had a Ranger with the 4.0 six motor that was made in Germany. I put 80,000 miles on it working all over the country. My nephew bought it from me and put another 100K on it. The body rusted off of it and it was still running.

Not an import, and not true.  More money from that Titan stays in the USA than from any Dodge built in Mexico.  And they are all built in Mexico.

Let's see.
I had a Dodge van down in Florida with a 318 in it. Loved that motor. I think it was a 92.
I then had a 96 4x4 V10 4 door with a 8' bed. You almost needed a ladder to get in it. LOL!
My wife hated to drive it because it was huge. I loved that truck. It was stolen out of my driveway and became involved in a high speed chase. I purchased a 2004 Dodge Ram which by the way, to this day,  is one of the most stolen vehicles of all time. It had the smaller V8. Great running motor. It was stolen out of my driveway and found in the French City on blocks. I went to the source and got the skinny on how easy it was to steal. I won't discuss it here on line.

Don't get hung up on where the company profit is spent. That is the smallest portion of the dollars produced. All car companies are pretty much world companies now. Look for percentage of US made parts and point of assembly.

Another aspect may be your political affiliation. As the Unions continue to dump their members dues behind more and more liberal candidates such as our current office holder, I prefer to spend my money where it does not get contributed against my vote.
