I am looking for info on the Wawasee Spring Challenge.  What launch is it at?(exact directions due to I am coming from Muskegon). Also what time are they launching?

LGMOUTH

They are going out of the Wawasee ramp which is on the east side of the lake. This address should get you real close. 9613 N Turkey Creek Rd, Syracuse, IN  46567

They start at safe light, which should be around 7:00 on the first one but I would be there by 6:30 just in case. Looks like sunrise is at 7:40 on April 26th so Im sure it wont be before 7:00.

When you are in any contest you should work as if there whereto the very last minute a chance to loose it.

skeebass49

Thanks I expect to see you there!

skeebass49

Also LGMOUTH the schedule says March 26 on the schedule is that wrong or did you mean March?

LGMOUTH

Yeah Yeah Yeah Im not always right. LOL

LGMOUTH

Thanks. I just got back from practice and did alright. Unfortunately its still about three weeks out and things are going to change alot. At least I know what the lake looks like now, and it was warm and sunny and I have the sun burn to prove it.

how much sunburn did u get at wawasee :D ;D
actually u probably could of got a sunburn but it probably was the coldest sunburn u ever got :D

what kind of weights to win and what was the water temp

that had to be the utmost brutal fishing conditions, since it was sunny, cold, clear water early spring.......oouuch!!

LGMOUTH

Water temp was 38 when we started and got all the way up to 40 by time we were done. Not a very pleasant day. It took just over 9lbs with 4 fish to win and 8.40 with 2 fish for second. We only had three fish for a huge weight of 5lbs. Not what I would consider great fishing conditions at all. Maybe next week will be better.
