Not Too Late To Get In Some Awesome Bass Fishing on Famed Lake El Salto
As you may or may not know, we close our fishing operation on Lake Comedero every May 1st just prior to the heavy monsoon rains (June – Sept). However, we leave our fishing operation on Lake El Salto – at the foothills of the Sierras and just below Comedero – open as it does not receive as much rainfall during the summer months. Well, friends…the fishing in El Salto is simply unbelievable right now!! Actually it’s been fantastic all year but right now might be the best fishing we’ve seen on this lake!
Here are some numbers for a group of 19 anglers from Arkansas who just returned from fishing El Salto on June 4, 5 and 6.
Total bass of 7lbs – 13lbs in 3 days of fishing: 47
Total bass per boat (2 anglers) avg. per day: 50 – 60
