MINNEAPOLIS (Nov. 29, 2011) – FLW Outdoors Magazine, a publication that helps fulfill FLW’s pledge to provide “The Best in Fishing, On and Off the Water,” is going back to its roots in 2012 and will be renamed FLW Bass Fishing. Along with a complete redesign and new content, FLW Bass Fishing and its counterpart FLW Walleye Fishing will offer subscribers and FLW members the latest and greatest coverage of bass and walleye fishing.

MINNEAPOLIS (Nov. 29, 2011) – FLW Outdoors Magazine, a publication that helps fulfill FLW’s pledge to provide “The Best in Fishing, On and Off the Water,” is going back to its roots in 2012 and will be renamed FLW Bass Fishing. Along with a complete redesign and new content, FLW Bass Fishing and its counterpart FLW Walleye Fishing will offer subscribers and FLW members the latest and greatest coverage of bass and walleye fishing.

The in-depth features, how-to articles, entertaining and informative departments, quality photography and detailed illustrations that subscribers have come to rely on are still there, offered in a new and more reader-friendly format. Expanded and detailed gear reviews and tournament reports also will be included, along with in-depth insights from the pros and updates from the various FLW social media outlets. The 2012 January-February edition will hit newsstands on Dec. 27. The magazine is published eight times per year.

The FLW Digital Edition, which is in its second year as an online alternative to the printed edition, offers an interactive experience to computer and tablet users. Among its unique features are videos and how-to clips that enhance the viewer’s experience. The online e-edition will be accessible for viewing on the iPad in early January 2012.
